The Hill Country Tri Club Training Schedule
Swim Clinic
When: Tuesday Night at 7:00pm to 8:00pm
Where: YMCA, Buda
Coach: Adrien Thom
Our swim clinic offers beginners and advanced swimmers a fantastic work-out. Coach Adrien provides stroke analysis and helpful tips to get you swimming in proper form for triathlon. Work outs last for 1 hour including warm-up and cool down. You do not have to be a member of the YMCA to attend our swim clinic. If you are not a member of the HCTC you are welcome to come participate in a free clinic as you contemplate joining.
Run Clinic
When: Wednesday Night at 7:00pm to 8:00pm
Where: Hays High School Track (mostly)
Coach: Run Clinic is currently team-lead.
Run clinic is tailored to individuals building for triathlons and running races. Whether you are working toward your first tri or 20th tri you will get a good solid run workout at run clinic.
Bike Clinic
When: Saturday Morning 8:00am
Where: Departing from Plum Creek Square at the top of Plum Creek Sub-Division
Coach: Rides are lead by Keith Eddleman
Bike clinic is very laid back and flexible. The ride is tailored more for distance than for speed. Two distances are provided each week and they are generally 12 miles and 25 +/- miles. Those going 12 miles turn back as a group while those going longer continue on. Again, this is flexible but we do follow road rules and no one gets left behind or left alone while out on the road. You do need to have a bike with gears and be prepared for a distance ride.
