We are delighted once again to offer the Hill Country Kids & Family Triathlon. This year on July 21, 2012 hundreds of kids and families from all over Central-Texas will compete. Each year this triathlon grows in popularity and has truly become one of the premiere kids events in the region.
This year the Hill Country Kids & Family Tri is a part of the 1379 Tri Series consisting of 3 kids triathlons spanning 3 months this summer. There are 3 separate events that make up the series. Awards will be given to kids who participate in the whole series.
Hill Country Kids Tri Race Information
Race Date: Saturday, July 21st, 2012
Time: 7:00 am
Location: Plum Creek Neighborhood in Kyle, Texas
Distances:
- Juniors (5-6) Swim 25 meters / Bike 0.88 mile / Run 0.5 mile
- Juniors (7-10) Swim 100 meters / Bike 3.5 miles / Run 1 K
- Seniors (11-15) Swim 150 meters / Bike 5.5 miles / Run 2 K
- Parents Swim 150 meters / Bike 5.5 miles / Run 2 K
Entry Fees (lower cost for early registration):
Youth $35.00 in May, $40.00 in June, $45.00 in July
Family Team $60.00 in May; $65.00 in June; $70 in July
(Please Note: One parent per child. Kids are capped at 175. Parents capped at 50 so enter early before it closes to adults and/or kids and to save money! No adults may race without his or her child.)
